Idaho Web Printers – Home of the Gazette & Full-service Printing

Tucked away in an enormous industrial building and surrounded by presses, cameras and computers, Brad and Brenda Moyer have been printing everything from business cards to newspapers since 1994.

“We’re coming up on 20 years in business and I still meet people who don’t realize where we are or what we do,” said Brad. “We are a full-service business and personal print and copy shop and do everything in house from artwork to production including envelopes, brochures, booklets and wedding invitations. We also own and produce the free local monthly paper, The Gazette.”

Born and raised in Emmett, Brad has a long and varied career as a newspaperman. He began as a Press Assistant for the Messenger Index in 1978 straight out of Emmett High School. He moved to Burley and then to Nevada, working as a press foreman for several papers until moving back to Emmett in 1991.

“We started the business plan in 1993 while I was working at two different papers,” said Brad. “In May of 1994, we opened for business and we’ve been going ever since. A lot has changed but because we are diversified, I think it has allowed us to not only survive but do really well.”

Idaho Web Printers had been printing The Gazette for a customer and took over ownership in 2005. According to Moyer they print about 9,700 papers monthly and direct mail The Gazette to approximately 8,150 to Gem County and Horseshoe Bend homes and businesses. They offer commercial offset web printing to other newspapers as well.

“I am surprised at how much I enjoy creating The Gazette,” said Brad. “I remember thinking there was no way I could do it all. But The Gazette is all about the community, helping readers with things like free classifieds and the paper itself is free as well as helping advertisers to get their word out. There is an entire section in the paper each month for the Senior Center where we post their calendar, activities and menus. We just started a new mailing program which means that The Gazette is now totally produced and distributed in town, now that’s local.”

Moyer recently joined the US Postal program known as Every Door Direct Mailing wherein The Gazette will now be mailed directly from the Emmett Post Office benefiting our local post office and community.

“I really love what I do,” said Brad. “My wife Brenda helps out with the business and doing books and we have two part-time employees.

Idaho Web Printers is located at 800 E. Locust, 365-1005. Open Monday – Friday, 9am – Noon & 1pm – 5pm, except during hunting and salmon season!
