The Gem Economic Development Association is an association of community leaders that implement the Idaho Gem Communities program. The Gem Communities program is designed to ensure that cities and counties are business ready.

GEDA also serves as a grant administrator for infrastructure and social service projects that will improve the quality of life in Emmett and Gem County Idaho.
