Gem - Boise County Fair & Rodeo

The Annual Gem / Boise County Fair & Rodeo

The annual Gem /Boise County Fair & Rodeo is always held over the first weekend in August. Gem and Boise Counties come together for this week-long event.

The fair features many 4-H animal and home arts exhibits and competitions. There is always free entertainment on the midway stage each day and concerts in the evening. Local organizations and other vendors have food booths selling everything from grilled burgers to cotton candy.

Commercial exhibitors can be found in the Expo building along with Open Class exhibits. Each year brings bigger and better, new and unusual entries. This is where anyone in Gem or Boise County can enter their crafts, cooking, canning, photography, produce, flowers or sewing to be judged.

The fair is 4-days of fun for the entire family. Admission to the fair is only $1.00. Rodeo admission is additional.
