Ola, Idaho

Ola is located about 30 miles north of Emmett. It is a small, mountain, unicorporated town at an elevation of 3,008 feet.

The Ola Valley is about 15 miles north of Sweet. It was settled around 1864 as a farming and ranching community. Ola has a community hall, a two-room school house and church which were all built around 1910. They are still used today.

Close by is the Boise National Forest with miles of trails for horseback riding in the spring and snowmobiling in the winter.

Wildlife abounds with deer, elk, chuckar, duck and geese to name just a few.
